Golfing in Biarritz
On the first evening the group dined at Pascal Ondarts fantastic restaurant, and the food was exceptional as always.
Day 2 was one of the hottest days on record in France and tested the group to it's limits. Wednesday evening we visited Maison Pujol, established in 1941 and famous for it's tapas.
The scores for the week were very impressive given the challenging courses, but in the end the top 4 players to qualify for the last pairing on finals day were Geoff Bell, Kym Edwards, Adrian Talpade and Malcolm Dalgleish. Despite a fine score of 36 points Geoff Bell was eased out of the winners spot by Kym Edwards who won the week (and with it The Ziggy Trophy) with a very impressive 39 points on the last day.
Well played to all who took part and a big thank you for making the trip one of the best so far.
