Golfing in Biarritz

Will Murray Golf returns from another great week in Biarritz. This is always a very enjoyable trip as Biarritz has so much to offer, an ideal mix of French and Spanish culture and cuisine located on the Atlantic Coast. The course line up of Le Phare, Chiberta, Seignosse, Nivelle and Chantaco meant the group played on some of the best courses in France.
On the first evening the group dined at Pascal Ondarts fantastic restaurant, and the food was exceptional as always.
Day 2 was one of the hottest days on record in France and tested the group to it's limits. Wednesday evening we visited Maison Pujol, established in 1941 and famous for it's tapas.
The scores for the week were very impressive given the challenging courses, but in the end the top 4 players to qualify for the last pairing on finals day were Geoff Bell, Kym Edwards, Adrian Talpade and Malcolm Dalgleish. Despite a fine score of 36 points Geoff Bell was eased out of the winners spot by Kym Edwards who won the week (and with it The Ziggy Trophy) with a very impressive 39 points on the last day.
Well played to all who took part and a big thank you for making the trip one of the best so far.
