Will Murray Golf holidays in ItalyThis is great week at The Green Park Hotel Resort near Milan in Italy. Always a joy to have a week playing golf surrounded by stunning views of the snow capped mountains of The Alps.
Day 1 After a morning flight to Milan airport we transfered to The Green Park Hotel at the foothills of the Alps with views of snow capped mountains. A light lunch taken outside on the terrace was followed by a practise session and then 18 holes on the Green Park Hotel Golf Course. Dinner that evening at the award winning steakhouse attached to the hotel was fantastic.
Day 2 Next morning after an intensive practise session at the hotel's training academy we drove to Biella Golf course, visually stunning venue to the Ladies European Tour Italian Open. Dinner that evening in the restaurant of Biella Golf Club was a real treat, genuine Italian cuisine, absolutely faultless.
Day 3 Another morning practise session at the hotel training academy was followed by golf on Castel Conturbia Golf course, 3 time venue for the European Tour Italian Open and dinner that evening at Cavaglia Castle restaurant with beautiful vues of the area was mind blowing, this restaurant is in a horstoric old castle and has an amazing wine list due to their vast wine cellar and a first class chef consistently producing some of the best dishes ever, this experience truely is one of the highlites of the week.
Day 4 On the fourth day our morning practise session at the hotel training academy was followed by golf on Roveri Golf course near Turin. Although this is also a possible day off for anyone feeling over golfed the choice of the hotel’s gym and beautiful outdoor pool or even a stop in at the retail park close by which is a purpose built shopping village with all the best known brands was given up for even more golf. Dinner that evening was back at the steakhouse attached to the hotel, medium rare steaks all round, amazing.
Day 5 The final day's morning practise session at the hotel training academy was followed by golf Bogogno. After golf we stayed for dinner on the terrace at the fantastic restaurant by the club and then had only a short trip to Milan airport for the return flight.
A great combination of perfect weather, good company and immaculate courses, one of the best weeks particularly for a couples trip.
